Service & Info
Everything you need for the Online Print Summit 2027: the venue and its two levels, how to get there, hotel recommendations within walking distance, the press area and all downloads.
Venue
Alte Kongresshalle,
right by the Theresienwiese
OPS 2027 runs in the same building on both days. Downstairs the Summit Hall, the partner stands and the briefing rooms, upstairs the Connect Zone with the catering. Distances are short, so you will not miss anything when you move between a talk, a conversation at a stand and lunch.

Getting there
How to reach us
The venue sits centrally within the inner MVV zone. Public transport gets you there faster than a car, and parking spaces at the building are scarce. A day ticket covers all your journeys, including the ones to your hotel and to the evening event.
By underground
Take the U5 to Schwanthalerhöhe, from there it is a five minute walk.
By train
All long-distance trains run to Munich Central Station. From there the Alte Kongresshalle is a good 25 minute walk, or you take the U5 to Schwanthalerhöhe and walk the last five minutes.
By plane
From Munich Airport to the Alte Kongresshalle it is around 40 minutes by taxi.
You can also use public transport: take the S1 or S8 to Karlsplatz (Stachus), change to the U5 towards Laimer Platz and get off at Schwanthalerhöhe. From there it is a five minute walk.
By car
If you would like to reach the Alte Kongresshalle by car, there are public car parks nearby:
- Theresienwiese public parking
- Park & Ride car park Heimeranplatz Garmischer Straße 19
- Public underground car park Gollierstraße 4

Hotels nearby
Both hotels are around ten minutes on foot from the venue. Book early: Munich is busy in April, and the central hotels are then either expensive or sold out.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
When do doors open and when does it start?
[Check-in times for day 1 and day 2, start of the first talk, end on the second day.]
Is anything happening the evening before?
Yes. On 12 April 2027 OPS starts with the Think Tank Talks and the evening event “Cheers & Thoughts”. Let us know during registration whether you will be there, then we can plan for you. The exact times are in the programme. [Add time and location.]
Is catering included in the ticket?
Yes. The ticket includes the entire event programme, catering during the breaks and the evening programme. You organise and pay for travel and accommodation yourself. [Add a note on vegetarian and vegan options.]
Can I transfer or cancel my ticket?
Transferring, yes. Up to 14 days before the event you can name a substitute, which is the easiest route if you cannot make it yourself.
For cancellations: up to 30 days beforehand we refund 50 per cent, after that no refund is possible. Our terms and conditions apply. All prices and ticket types are on the page Tickets and registration.
What language are the talks in?
Mainly English. For the talks in the Summit Hall there is simultaneous interpretation into German and English, so you can follow in whichever language suits you.
The interpretation runs during the talks in the Summit Hall. For the smaller formats, please expect the respective original language to be spoken.
Are the talks recorded?
Yes. We record the talks and make them available after the event. [Add when they will be available and where to find the videos.]
Will photos and videos be taken on site?
Yes. We document the event in photos and on film and use the material for coverage and for marketing OPS. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us at check-in and we will find a solution. [Add the legal basis and a reference to the privacy policy, ideally agreed with the lawyer.]
Is there Wi-Fi on site?
[Network name, access details or a note on where to get them.]
Where can I park?
Parking spaces directly at the building are scarce. Nearby you have public parking on the Theresienwiese, the Park & Ride car park Heimeranplatz at Garmischer Straße 19 and the public underground car park at Gollierstraße 4. Taking the U5 to Schwanthalerhöhe is usually faster.
How do I reach the team during the event?
There is always someone from the team at the info counter in the foyer.
